Marelli Motori awarded “Rolls-Royce Supplier of the Year – Marine sector” 21 March 2011

On 16 March 2011, Rolls-Royce hosted their third annual Supplier of the Year Awards Dinner, near Washington D.C. (USA), with their top strategic Partners and Suppliers in attendance.
Marelli Motori received the prestigious award as “Rolls-Royce Supplier of the Year” for 2010 as a key supplier of electric motors and generators for the marine sector. Roberto Ditri, Managing Director, Marelli Motori, proudly accepted this award and committed to continued progress on the “road to excellence” for Marelli Motori.
“The Rolls-Royce Supplier of the Year awards recognise the contribution and continuous commitment of strategic partners and suppliers in support of the Rolls-Royce supply chain strategy and, ultimately, the performance of our product range.

Marelli Motori also celebrates the 120th anniversary of its foundation and this “Rolls-Royce Supplier of the Year” award supports the union of tradition, innovation and quality that has always distinguished the company.
Mercoledì 16 marzo 2011 si è svolta la terza edizione del Rolls-Royce Global Supplier Forum vicino a Washington D.C. (USA) con la partecipazione dei partner e fornitori strategici di Rolls-Royce.
Marelli Motori ha ricevuto il prestigioso premio ‹‹Rolls-Royce Supplier of the Year›› per l’anno 2010 come migliore fornitore di motori elettrici e generatori per applicazioni marine.
L’Amministratore Delegato di Marelli Motori, Dott. Ing. Roberto Ditri, ha ricevuto con orgoglio questo importante riconoscimento confermando l’impegno dell’azienda a percorrere sempre la strada verso l’eccellenza.
Mike Orris, Chief Procurement Officer di Rolls-Royce, ha dichiarato durante la cerimonia:
