Italian Business Mission to South Korea

The largest business mission to South Korea ever organised by Confindustria, the Italian Baking Association and the Foreign Trade Association has just taken place in Seoul.
Following the Free Trade Agreement of last July between the EU and Korea, the objective of this initiative was to establish stronger bilateral relationships and investigate new business opportunities for our Country.
Marelli Motori was amongst the 60 selected Italian companies which travelled to meet the representatives of one of the most dynamic and promising new economies. In 2010 South Korea was the 7th world largest exporter, and the recent abolition of import duty is widely increasing the advantages of making business with Korea.
The Managing Director, Roberto Ditri, the Technical Director Gianluca Stanic and the Asia Pacific Sales Manager Chris Cheah attended the event as Marelli Motori representatives.
During the Italy-Korea Business Forum, Mr. Gianluca Stanic, introduced our latest range of products suitable for Marine and Oil & Gas Applications, whose innovative technology met consent and aroused considerable interest.
Marelli Motori participated to several B2B meetings, and in particular two Korean industrial giants such as Doosan Heavy Industry & Construction (industrial materials and facilities) and SK E & C (engineering, procurement, construction, and maintenance services) specifically requested to meet our company in order to discuss future business ventures.
The MD Roberto Ditri in a small delegation met the Chairman of Korea Chamber of Commerce & Industry (KCCI), Mr Kyung Shik Sohn and his staff.
Missione Economia Italiana in Corea

Si è conclusa la più grande missione economica mai organizzata in Corea da Confindustria, ABI (Associazione Bancaria Italiana) e Unioncamere.
A seguito dell’accordo di Libero Mercato siglato tra l’Unione Europea e la Corea lo scorso luglio, l’obiettivo di questa iniziativa era rafforzare le relazioni internazionali e creare nuove opportunità di business tra i due paesi.
Con altre 60 aziende italiane, Marelli Motori ha incontrato a Seul i “decision makers” di una delle più dinamiche e promettenti economie asiatiche. Nel 2010 la Corea del Sud si è classificata al settimo posto nel ranking mondiale delle esportazioni e la recente abolizione dei dazi d’importazione ha sicuramente aumentato i vantaggi per gli imprenditori italiani.
Hanno rappresentato Marelli Motori l’Amministratore Delegato Roberto Ditri, il Direttore Tecnico Gianluca Stanic e il Sales Manager Chris Cheah.
Durante il Forum Italia-Corea, l’Ing. Gianluca Stanic, ha presentato le recenti innovazioni tecnologiche dell’azienda per il settore marino e dell’Oil & Gas, riscuotendo molto interesse da parte delle aziende locali.
L’evento si è articolato in una serie di incontri B2B di settore, in particolare da segnalare i due colossi coreani Doosan Heavy Industry & Construction (costruzione e approvvigionamento di impianti industriali) e SK E&C (ingegneria e costruzioni) che hanno richiesto specificatamente di incontrare la nostra azienda.
L’AD Roberto Ditri ha fatto parte inoltre di una delegazione ristretta che ha incontrato il Presidente della Camera di Commercio: Coreana, Kyung Shik Sohn (Chairman of KCCI Korea Chamber of Commerce & Industry) e il suo staff.
